Some luxury villas are equipped with swimming pools, outdoor beds, modern spaces, their own grounds, spacious rooms and the latest technology. These properties typically cost between €800,000 and €2’000,000.
Features and location are the most important factors in determining the cost of a villa. However, there are more economical villas that can be between 300.000 and 600.000€.

What would be the steps to acquire a Villa for sale in Lanzarote?
At Lanzarote Agents we have extensive experience in the purchase of villas in Lanzarote, so we would like to show you the most important steps to be taken and the necessary considerations to be taken into account in the process.
1. What is my budget: Before you start choosing the villa you should know how much money you are going to spend to buy it. This allows us to reduce the search time and go directly to the villas that fit the budget we have.
2. Choosing the villa: Here it is important to ask yourself the following questions: How have you imagined your villa, how many bedrooms do you want, do you want a villa with a sea view, how many people are going to live there, do you want everything close by or do you not mind going to the supermarket?
This process is the one we enjoy the most, it is when we start to materialise our dreams and make them come true. It is of vital importance to have everything very clear to avoid bad decisions and save time in the search of your villa.
3. Booking the villa: After having found the ideal villa that suits our needs, the reservation of the property must be made. Generally, a minimum percentage of money is retained by the real estate agency to be sure that the purchase is serious.
4. Contract: At this point the Villa is almost your property. An initial contract is signed detailing all the agreements between the seller and the buyer. The most common thing to do is to have a trustworthy lawyer to help you with the handling of the legal terms that are expressed therein.
5. Notary, deeds and land registry: No high-value purchase can be made without the presence of a notary. The notary is in charge of verifying that all the paperwork is correct, that the bills for the property are up to date and that the remaining amount for the purchase of the flat is paid.
If you are a foreigner and do not understand Spanish very well, you will need to have a translator to help you understand what is being said, and you will need to present your passport as identification.
Then the title deeds are signed and the keys are handed over to the buyer. Finally the lawyer will register the property to verify that you are now the new owner of the villa.
